The Banff Aspen Lodge in Banff (Alberta) is in the Canadian Rockies, just two blocks from downtown and a 90 minutes ride from the Calgary International Airport. The Lodge is just a brief stroll from shopping, dining, museums and galleries, and offers ski shuttle service to the famous "Big 3" ski resorts Banff/Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise Ski Area each within a 40 minute drive. The Lodge's cozy, Fireplace Lounge with oversized armchairs, is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the hotel's sizable lending library.
All guestrooms offer panoramic mountain views from a balcony or patio. The 89 guestrooms have full, spacious bathrooms, satellite televisions and coffee makers, and some rooms offer sitting areas. All guestrooms at the Banff Aspen Lodge are non smoking.
The hotel also offers convenient ski storage, and a handy workbench for pre skiing tune ups.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel is currently constructing two new spa tubs. The steam room, sauna and outdoor spa tub are closed. Construction work is performed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. There may be noise disturbance. The estimated completion date is December 15, 2007. This date is subject to change. During the renovation period, the hotel is offering discounted passes to nearby fitness facilities.
