The 1 Med Hotel is a traditional townhouse style property located 100 metres from the sea and the buzzing nightlife of Nice's historic centre. The 27 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in light colours with patterned fabrics and wood furnishings. Modern amenities include televisions, telephones and private bathrooms.
After breakfast (fee) in the hotel's bright, air conditioned dining room, guests can surf the web via the hotel's wireless Internet connection. Multilingual staff are on hand to offer sightseeing advice. Practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk and transport to and from the airport (surcharge). SNCF national train services run to/from the airport every 30 minutes from Cannes Gare St Laurent du Var, and every 45 minutes from Nice (Gare Nice Ville). Taxis are readily available and charge around 30 EUR to the city centre; taxi stands are located outside both terminals. Motorway tolls may be added to the fare. Regular public buses serve the area. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
Driving directions: From the airport, head in the direction of Nice along the English Promenade. Turn left at the Negresco Hotel. The 1 Med Hotel is on the right.
