The Hotel Globus is located on the north side of Florence by San Lorenzo market, 300 metres from the city's breathtaking Duomo. The hotel's 23 rooms have contemporary dark wood furniture, with pastel walls, soft lighting and art prints. All include safes, minibars, cable TV and high speed Internet connections. Some rooms have views of the adjacent Medici Chapel.

The real one is housed in the Accademia Gallery, one kilometre from the hotel. Santa Maria Novella Station is 500 metres from the hotel and Florence Airport is six kilometres (four miles) away.

A taxi from the airport will cost approx. 20 EUR and take 20 to 30 minutes. A shuttle bus service also runs to and from the airport to the train station. From Santa Maria Novella, head to Piazza dell'Unit�' Italiana and turn left in Via S. Antonino; Hotel Globus is located at number 24. Head into Florence and follow the signs for "Centro Stazione". Once at the square where the station is located (Piazza Stazione) go around the roundabout leading to Piazza dell'Unit� and take Via del Melarancio, follow it to the end. Then turn left in Via Faenza, which crosses Via S. Antonino, Hotel Globus is located at number 24. Car parking is available in a garage in Via Faenza, 20 metres from the hotel (fee).
