Location. The Best Western Hotel Villa Mabapa is a 1930s era hotel positioned along the Venetian Lagoon in Venice, Italy. The hotel faces the San Marco Basin and is located one kilometre from the Lido Beach. The Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs stand less than two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. This property features a shaded courtyard that leads to three connected villas. The lobby displays Oriental rugs and antiques. Alfresco dining is offered beneath the pines at Villa Mabapa Restaurant, where Venetian cuisine is served on blue Murano glass plates. The Bar offers coffee, tea, snacks and cocktails in a room graced by antique oil paintings, blue glass paneled doors, a grand piano and blue sofas. The hotel operates a private motorboat used for transportation to the airport. Public buses travel from the airport to Piazzale Rome, whereupon public shuttle boats continue to St. Mark's Square. The Number 1 or Number 52 vaporetto travels to the Lido. The vaporetto (public water bus) system connects the major islands of the lagoon with the historic center of Venice.
